Welcome to Kate Moore Music & The Cat House Band
Welcome to Kate Moore Music. I perform with the high-energy, fun, talented Cat House Band at a variety of events throughout McKinney, Allen Frisco, Plano, Dallas and many other North Texas cities. We can provide jazz, blues, country, contemporary, Pop, and R & B music at a variety of venues, including weddings, clubs, open houses, parties, grand openings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, garden parties, festivals, car show, divorce celebrations, and spa parties, and much more.Music has always been a part of my life. My dad played the piano and guitar and my mother sang and played the piano. There was always music in my house. People were always coming over to play in the band and sing. Music was always playing.
I've been a singer most of my life and I’ve been a professional singer since 1997. I started out singing in nursing homes to entertain the residents and bring joy to their lives. I have 15 years of classical opera training and I can sing just about anything in any key. I have a 3.5 octave range. I love songs that are challenging and I like singing songs with a mixture of high and low notes. Ballads are my favorite.
I enjoy singing and performing with the Cat House Band at many types of events in McKinney, Allen, Plano, Frisco, Dallas, and other cities. When you come to one of my performances, you can expect to create fond memories, feel good, have a great time, and you’ll want to dance even if there’s not a dance floor.
The Cat House Band is wonderful. These talented musicians are called the Cat House Band because I rescue cats. When I lived in Arkansas, some of my clients would build me cat houses for the wild cats I rescued. I was a massage therapist, so they began trading cat houses for my services. At every show, I encourage audience members to spay and neuter their pets.
